Charlie Gaspario of Fox Business Network wrote a great commentary about GE CEO Jeff Immelt’s change of heart regarding President Obama.

Apparently, Immelt originally thought his influence could moderate some of Obama’s anti-business views but now Immelt is frustrated that the President has veered further left. According to one source, “Jeff thought he could make a difference, and now realizes he couldn’t.”

Immelt should have realized from the start that he could not influence the radical views of President Obama. It seems to me that Immelt is watching Obama’s falling poll numbers and he does not want to be on the losing end of the next presidential election.

With GE’s dependence on the government for revenue, Immelt can’t afford to go down on Obama’s shift.
