WASHINGTON, DC – FreedomWorks is proud to announce the addition of Deneen Borelli as the organization’s new Director of Outreach.

In her new role, Deneen will speak at events promoting FreedomWorks’ pro-liberty agenda, participate in recruiting grassroots activists — including minorities — and aggressively challenge the misleading voices of the liberal black establishment.

Following a successful corporate career, Deneen launched a second career as a leading voice for liberty advocating the importance of economic choice and limited government.

Previously, Deneen served on the Board of Trustees with The Opportunity Charter School in Harlem, NY, as Manager of Media Relations with the Congress of Racial Equality (CORE) and as a Fellow with Project 21 – a network of black conservatives.

During her tenure at CORE, Deneen acted as the executive producer and co-host of “The CORE Hour,” a weekly internet radio talk show.  She became the first full-time Fellow with Project 21 where Deneen became a high profile advocate of limited government and personal responsibility by communicating these values through commentaries and radio and TV interviews.

She is a current Fox News Channel contributor and author of the new book Blacklash: How Obama and the Left Are Driving Americans to the Government Plantation.

Deneen is a columnist with the Daily Caller, a contributor to Newsmax and she has also written for Fox News Opinion and The Blaze.  She has appeared on a variety of national television shows, including Glenn Beck’s GBTV, The O’Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, Hannity, and Fox and Friends, to comment on issues affecting the U.S. economy and race issues.

“We are thrilled to announce Deneen’s recent commitment to the FreedomWorks team,” commented Adam Brandon, Executive Vice President of FreedomWorks. “Deneen Borelli will be an extremely effective spokeswoman for the organization, and will be working very closely with our grassroots community building efforts moving forward.”

Alex Pappas of the Daily Caller also reported on this announcement.

FreedomWorks is a grassroots service center with over 1.7 million members nationwide dedicated to advancing the ideas of lower taxes, less government and more freedom. For more information about FreedomWorks, please visit www.FreedomWorks.org.
