Apple CEO Tim Cook Bashes Big Oil Companies
Business Insider posted a story about Apple CEO Tim Cook’s communication to the company’s employees about the significant drop in Apple’s stock.
In an attempt to put Apple’s quarterly earnings in perspective Cook said,
“The only companies that report better quarters pump oil. I do not know about you all, but I do not want to work for those companies.”
Cook’s condescending comment about oil companies is typical of a progressive elite. While he looks down on energy companies, Cook has conveniently forgotten the concerns about the harsh working conditions of Asian workers that make Apple’s products.
In fact, just this week it was reported that 106 children were found making Apple products in China.
Cook should keep his focus on running his business which has mounting problems.
Finally, I wonder what Cook’s car and corporate jet run on for energy.
