Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
Hillary Clinton continues to play identity politics in a desperate attempt to shore up the women vote. But is it helping?
Even MSNBC reporters are beginning to argue the Clinton camp is overplaying the “woman card” to the point of actual misogyny.
The Washington Free Beacon reports:
Hillary Clinton laughed heartily Sunday when asked about former secretary of state Madeleine Albright’s remark that there is a “special place in hell” for women who don’t support other women, a clear shot at voters for Bernie Sanders. “I want to ask you about a comment former secretary of state Madeleine Albright said, a comment that I’ve heard her say before, but it sort of rang differently to a lot of people. She said, there’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help women,” Meet the Press host Chuck Todd said.
Clinton laughed as Todd recited Albright’s statement. “But the implication is that somehow, if you’re a Democratic woman and you’re not supporting you, what’s wrong with you? Do you want the vote to be decided on gender lines like that?” Todd said.
…When Todd asked Clinton if she understood why the statement was offensive, Clinton said that people get offended too easily. “You can understand why some might have been offended by it?” Todd said.
“Well, good grief, we’re getting offended about everything these days. Honest to goodness, I mean, people can’t say anything without offending somebody,” Clinton said.
This is the easily offended, over-sensitive, politically correct monster that progressive Democrats have created, and now they will have to answer to it.
And while they do, I will be over here, eating popcorn and enjoying the schadenfreude that comes with progressive backlash…….
