The New Black Panther Party Wants to Bring Guns to the GOP Convention

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

The New Black Panther Party plans to be as intimidating as possible at the GOP convention in Cleveland, and that includes being armed and dangerous.

Fox News reports:

Members of the controversial “black power” group the New Black Panther Party plan to pack legal heat when they hold rallies in Cleveland in conjunction with next week’s Republican convention if the law allows, the group’s chairman said. Leaders of the organization, which the Southern Poverty Law Center designates as a hate group, told Reuters that if Ohio’s open-carry gun laws allow, its members will bring guns for self-defense. Cleveland police are preparing for mass demonstrations, and word that the New Black Panthers may be armed could complicate preparations.

Before this news, the Secret Service already warned of an elevated threat level for this year’s convention attendees.

According to CBS News:

But [Secret Service Director Joseph Clancy] also told CBS News that it’s actually the campaign trail where the threat has grown. Protecting the candidates is getting tougher — and offenders are getting braver.

“I would say the candidate threat picture is slightly elevated,” Clancy told CBS News’ Jeff Pegues. “People are bolder … we have to be prepared for that.”

Members of the New Black Panther Party aren’t interested in solving any of the nation’s problems. They are nothing more than a hate group. They promote violence against law enforcement, along with white people and in some cases, Jewish people. They call for a socialist revolution and manufacture racial animosity for their own political gain.

They don’t want to defend themselves, they want to intimidate and provoke violence. They gain power and influence through chaos and disorder. They shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near the convention.
