Biden Calls Trump Universal Mail-In Voting Criticism ‘bald-faced lies’

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Former Vice President Joe Biden slammed President Trump over his criticism of universal mail-in voting.

Democrats are pushing for universal mail-in voting as a way to participate in the November election without potentially being exposed to the Wuhan China virus.

Biden called the president’s comments “bald-faced lies” during a video fundraiser.

Responding to President Trump, Biden said, “He suggested we should postpone the election, full of just bald-faced lies about how mail-in votes were fraud, and how it was so terrible.”

President Trump believes universal mail-in voting will result in voter fraud.

To raise awareness of the issue, President Trump also hinted he would delay the election and his comment unleashed criticism from Democrats.

Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) weighed in.

Despite the criticism, universal mail-in voting does represent a risk to the integrity of elections.

CBS This Morning conducted a voting by mail experiment and wrote a story, “Vote-by-mail experiment reveals potential problems within postal voting system ahead of November election.”

The program sent 100 test ballots to represent what the results would look like if these ballots were sent via the post office.

The test was conducted in the Philadelphia area and found after a week, the results were “Three simulated persons, or 3% of voters, were effectively disenfranchised by mail by giving their ballots a week to arrive. In a close election, 3% could be pivotal.”

The most glaring problem with mass voting by mail occurred in the New York primary in the 12th Congressional district.

The primary was on June 23 and at this point, a winner has yet to be declared because of the huge number of ballots that were sent by mail totaling around 65,000 as well as a large number of about 12,000 ballots that were tossed out.

President Trump referenced the New York primary as an example to highlight the problems in mail-in voting

In a New Jersey City Council race in Patterson, mail-in ballots were also a problem.

According to RealClear Politics, “…16,747 vote-by-mail ballots were received, but only 13,557 votes were counted,” because over 3,000 ballots were disqualified.

Democrats know universal mail-in voting greatly increases the odds of fraud and delayed election results.

If voting by mail is causing problems in a Congressional primary and a city council race, just imagine the chaos it will cause for a national election.

Once again, Biden is wrong and he is the one dealing out bald-faced lies.
