Obama’s Keep Your Doctor Lie Is Hurting Americans

In a recent interview with WebMD, a medical information website, President Obama admitted that his health care plan may result in individuals losing their doctor.
The Weekly Standard covered Obama’s interview in a blog post.
“For the average person, many folks who don’t have health insurance initially, they’re going to have to make some choices. And they might end up having to switch doctors, in part because they’re saving money,” said Obama in an interview with the medical website WebMD.
As we all know, that statement conflicts with his earlier promise that under his health care plan individuals could keep their doctor.
This is different than what Obama said when he was selling Obamacare. “If you like the plan you have, you can keep it. If you like the doctor you have, you can keep your doctor, too. The only change you’ll see are falling costs as our reforms take hold,” said Obama in his weekly address on June 6, 2009.
Obama’s conflicting statements have exposed the president as a liar and deceiver.
Tragically, Obama’s broken promise is hurting Americans.
The plight of Annette Frey, a cancer survivor and small business owner, serves as an example highlighting the problems caused by ObamaCare.
Frey’s heath care plan was canceled because of the Affordable Health Care Act and her new plan does not include the doctor that saved her life. Frey discussed her situation with Fox News host Neil Cavuto on Your World with Neil Cavuto.
Congress would have never passed ObamaCare if Americans knew the truth about the real world consequences of Obama’s health care plan.
It’s outrageous that Obama’s command and control health care plan is disrupting American lives. We need to hold every elected official that voted for ObamaCare accountable for their role in harming hard working Americans.
