Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
Hillary Clinton is hiding from the press, and the mainstream media is finally frustrated enough to bring it up.
Even MSNBC is pointing out that Hillary Clinton held zero press conferences in 2016. To contrast, Donald Trump held 17 this year.
The Washington Free Beacon reports:
MSNBC anchor Steve Kornacki highlighted Monday that Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has gone 268 days without holding a single press conference to answer questions from the media about her campaign. The last time Clinton held a press conference was on December 4, 2015, when she answered questions from reporters in Fort Dodge, Iowa.
Kornacki said that there is no law requiring presidential candidates to hold press conferences on the campaign trail, but he said there is a tradition among previous White House hopefuls to do so.

This is not the first time an MSNBC anchor expressed frustration with the lack of transparency from the Clinton campaign.
The Morning Joe program actually banned Clinton campaign surrogates from coming on the show until they could finally book an appearance from the candidate herself.
