Target Spending $20 Million Revising Its Bathroom Policy… Again!

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Think boycotts don’t work? Think again!

After Target outraged families all across the country with its ludicrous decision to allow transgenders to use whatever bathroom they’d like regardless of birth gender, over one million Americans boycotted the store. Perhaps in an effort to salvage their falling stocks, the national chain is now saying they will spend $20 million to create individual bathroom stalls for family use.

According to CNN Money,

Target (TGT) CFO Cathy Smith said Wednesday that the company has heard objections to the transgender bathroom policy from some customers, though she said other customers had voiced support. In response, Target has decided to expand its use of a third, single-toilet bathroom at all of its stores, which can be locked by users.

That bathroom can be used by any customer who needs some privacy, including parents with small children of a different gender or those who are uncomfortable with a public bathroom in which a transgender person is allowed.

So instead of simply saying men should use men’s restrooms and women use women’s restrooms, Target will spend $20 million to create new, single stall facilities. Some might call that good business practice… the rest of us call it political correctness gone ridiculously expensive. But, at least it’s a step in the right direction!

Will you shop at Target after they add the new bathrooms? Let us know in the comment section below.
