Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
President Obama just put a stick in the eye of President-elect Trump by his last minute executive actions to restrict development of coal, oil and natural gas energy resources.
On Monday, the Department of Interior announced the Stream Protection Rule that will prevent up to 60 percent of the nation’s coal resources from being mined and Obama took another executive action yesterday to permanently ban oil and natural gas drilling along the Atlantic coast and in the Arctic.
The new Trump administration will need Congress to effectively address Obama’s assault on the nation’s fossil fuel resources.
In his last days in office, Obama is doing everything he can to stop Trump’s energy policy that will create millions of jobs and make the U.S. energy independent.
