CNN deleted a news story that falsely claimed the Senate Intelligence Committee was looking into ties between President Trump’s campaign associates and a Russian investment group.

On Thursday evening, CNN investigative reporter Thomas Frank published a potentially explosive report involving an investigation of a Russian investment fund with potential ties to several associates of President Donald Trump.
But by Friday night, the story was removed from CNN’s website and all links were scrubbed from the network’s social media accounts.
“That story did not meet CNN’s editorial standards and has been retracted,” CNN said in an editors note posted in place of the story. “Links to the story have been disabled.”

The problem is the Senate Intelligence Committee is not investigating a reported link between Trump’s team and the Russian investment fund.

While the Senate Intelligence Committee had no comment on the matter when asked by Breitbart News about this report of a supposed probe, a source close to Senate GOP leadership told Breitbart News this claim is entirely untrue and there is no such probe in the committee.

This is nothing besides Democrats trying to frustrate the efforts of President Trump’s administration while Elizabeth Warren and those of her ilk spend their days collecting taxpayer funded paychecks while they do nothing but stand in the way of the progress of the American agenda and are responsible for this nonsense. They should put their names on it if they want to waste taxpayer money on it.
The eagerness of CNN and other news outlets to blast Trump is making them vurneralbe to publishing stories that are not based on fact.
The agenda driven news is damagaing the credibitiy of the left-wing media.
