Maxine Waters Slams Senator Schumer

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

California Democrat Representative Maxine Waters was not pleased with the critical comments made by Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) about her remarks calling for the public to harass members of President Trump’s administration.

Waters said, “Let’s make sure we show up wherever we have to show up. And if you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd. And you push back on them. And you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere. We’ve got to get the children connected to their parents.”

CNN reported on Schumer’s statement about Waters:

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer sharply criticized fellow Democrat Rep. Maxine Waters of California on Monday for calling on opponents of President Donald Trump to protest his policies by harassing members of his administration.

He described Waters’ approach as “not American.”

Waters shot back at the Senator saying politicians like Schumer will “do anything” to stay in power.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) also criticized Waters.

Waters slammed Schumer during an interview on MSNBC with host Joy Reid.

The American Mirror reports:

“Well, I’m surprised that Chuck Schumer, you know, reached into the other house (of Congress) to do that. I’ve not quite seen that done before, but one of the things I recognize, being an elected official, is in the final analysis, leadership like Chuck Schumer will do anything that they think is necessary to protect their leadership,” she said.

Waters also used the TV appearance to blast President Trump saying he does not deserve to be president.

Reid promoted the interview on Twitter:

Waters is leading the charge against President Trump and the outrageous comments she is making about the president and the administration has made her a hero of the Left-wing media.

Critical comments from Pelosi and Schumer are not going to stop Waters.
