Senator Hirono Leverages Anti-Kavanaugh Fame To Fundraise For MoveOn.org

A leading critic of Judge Brett Kavanaugh is using her fame to fundraise for the Left-wing group MoveOn.org.
Hawaii Democrat Senator Mazie Hirono made national news with her overwhelming support for Judge Kavanaugh accuser Christine Blasey Ford and criticism of Senate Republicans.
The Washington Examiner reports:
The senator leading the fight against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh is fundraising off her notoriety, and in her bid for up to $1,500 claimed that the federal appeals court judge is not backing calls for an investigation into a charge of sex harassment against him because “he knows he is guilty.”
The fundraising letter claims Republicans don’t want to find “the truth” regarding Ford’s allegations and if confirmed, Kavanaugh will back President Trump in any possible cases that make it to the Supreme Court.
From Hirono’s fundraising letter:
Let’s be clear: Trump and his Republican allies have no interest in finding the truth.
They have no interest in hearing from Dr. Blasey Ford, or from any witness that would corroborate her story. They have no interest in conducting a fair investigation. Anything that gets in the way of fast-tracking Kavanaugh’s ascent to the Court is unacceptable for them.
That’s because they know that when Kavanaugh is on the Court, he will defend Trump from any civil or criminal case brought against him. And making sure that Trump is protected before Democrats take back Congress is more important to them than anything else.
Hirono is also using Twitter to generate support for Ford:
Today, @SenGillibrand and I accepted a letter signed by over 1,000 alumnae of @HoltonArms in support of and in solidarity with Dr. Christine Blasey Ford. I will enter it into the Committee record to show that we are standing together because we #BelieveWomen. pic.twitter.com/P11sLAqoDY

It’s extremely disappointing, but typical, that the outrageous statements made by Hirono are used to generate funds for a Left-wing advocacy group.
