Study: Network News Trump Coverage 92 Percent Negative
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
President Trump continues to get an overwhelming amount of negative news coverage, according to a new study by the Media Research Center.
Fox News Insider reports:
For the report, analysts with the conservative media watchdog evaluated 1,007 evening news broadcasts spanning a total of 1,960 minutes from ABC, CBS and NBC from June 1 to September 30.
The results show that Trump received 92 percent negative coverage, compared to just eight percent positive.
Network news also ignored the positive elements of economic growth resulting from President Trump’s policies.
From the Media Research Center study:
Amid this sea of coverage, the networks spent almost no airtime — a mere 14 minutes, or 0.7 percent — on the administration’s economic achievements, including the positive effects of the tax cuts and deregulation, plus historic job growth. Indeed, the only aspect of the Trump economic program that interested the networks during the past four months has been the President’s use of tariffs to push for better trade deals (80 minutes).
The Media Research Center also noted the lack of coverage of the good GDP report for the third quarter in a Tweet:

The study shows the extent of the negative news coverage President Trump gets from the major TV news networks.
