Reporter Caught On Tape Cursing About Possible John James Victory In Michigan

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

A reporter in Michigan was caught cursing on tape about the possibility of Republican Senate candidate John James beating Democrat incumbent Debbie Stabenow.

Brenda Battel, a reporter for local Michigan newspaper the Huron Daily Tribune, left a voicemail seeking to interview James but the phone call was never disconnected.

After leaving the message, Battel’s true feelings about James were captured on the voicemail recording.

The Daily Caller reports:

“Hi, my name is Brenda Battel, I’m a reporter with the Huron Daily Tribune in Bad Axe, Michigan,” Battel said in the voicemail.

“I’m looking to set up an appointment with Mr. James for some time on Wednesday for a phone interview regarding the election results,” Battel continued. “I’m probably going to send an email over to the info@johnjamesforsenate.com with some details. Um, if you’d like to call me back, my number is … extension … Thank you.”

Battel attempts to hang up after giving her number, but the phone remains connected.

“Man, if he beats her… Jesus! Fucking John James. That would suck! Whew I don’t think it’s going to happen though,” Battel continued.

The Michigan GOP promoted James on Twitter:

Battel’s comments reveal a deep and extreme animosity against James and provides a textbook example of the anti-Republican bias in the left-wing media.
