Biden Attacks Trump During Coronavirus Press Conference

2020 presidential candidate former Vice President Joe Biden held a press conference today to outline his plan on how he would handle the coronavirus outbreak if he was president.
Biden made his announcement from Wilmington, Delaware, following President Trump’s coronavirus national address last night.
The teleprompter speech went beyond laying out a proposed plan on handling the coronavirus, with Biden wasting no time targeting President Trump, calling his plan a “colossal” failure.
“This virus laid bare the severe shortcomings of the current administration,” said Biden.
Biden also called President Trump’s travel restrictions “xenophobic.”
Biden Logic:
— Don’t hold the China accountable for covering up Coronavirus for months.
— Hold Trump accountable for his “xenophobic” Travel restrictions to and from China to help stop the spread to the US in order to protect the country.pic.twitter.com/9xIv0FQtfE

Watch the entire speech below:
It didn’t take long for Biden’s critics to weigh in on social media, including highlighting his opposition to travel restrictions on China.
Joe Biden opposed the China travel restrictions wisely put in place by President Trump in January – restrictions that health experts credit with slowing the spread of coronavirus & saving lives.
If Biden had been in charge, more Americans would have contracted the virus faster. pic.twitter.com/yDXRYl6lOk

So you're telling me that Biden would handle China Virus better than Trump?
The guy who:
– said China travel ban was racist
– said China "not competition/threat"
– Shuttles his son to China on AF2 to get billion$ from the communists
– Let swine flu infected 61 million Americans pic.twitter.com/z9PiM8basr— Benny Johnson (@bennyjohnson) March 12, 2020

Tim Murtaugh, Trump campaign communications director, said President Trump “acted early and decisively,” and “His every move has been aimed at keeping Americans safe, while Joe Biden has sought to capitalize politically and stoke citizens’ fears.”
Biden, like many Democrats, is trying to exploit the coronavirus crisis for political gain.
Instead of politicizing the coronavirus, Biden should be preparing for his upcoming debate with Senator Bernie Sanders (I-Vt).
