Rep Pressley Wants Next Coronavirus Relief to Support the ‘undocumented’ and ‘incarcerated’

Following the passage of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, a $2.2 trillion relief bill, Representative Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) is calling for the next stimulus package for the virus to provide financial relief benefits for those “undocumented” and for “incarcerated men and women.”
Appearing on MSNBC, Pressley expressed these groups were “vulnerable.”
As we finalize the next congressional stimulus package, I will continue to fight to ensure that we center all of our communities & that all federal funding allocated to combat the #COVID19 pandemic recognizes the humanity of everyone who calls our country home. pic.twitter.com/74uGmgUHdP

Representative Ilhan Omar (D-MN) supported Pressley, tweeting “no human is illegal.”
That’s right. Our immigrant families were callously left out in the last federal relief package. Also no human is ‘illegal’. https://t.co/NQkDyAs4YC

Omar issued a statement:
“It is absurd and cruel that a taxpaying, mixed status couple or family could be excluded from this relief. Over 140,000 Minnesotans live in mixed status families of some form.”
As it stands, we’re leaving out people who are in this country legally, workers on the front lines, and taxpayers.
We must fight to include everyone in our relief efforts.https://t.co/PGjjBFugqc

Pressley’s and Omar’s radical policy agenda is misguided and harmful because they continue to place illegal aliens on an equal footing with Americans.
