Biden Lied: Treasury Dept Confirms Hunter Biden Received $3.5 Million Wire Transfer

What should be considered a national news story about Hunter Biden’s foreign business deals and former Vice President Joe Biden denying any wrongdoing by his son is getting little media attention.
Hunter received a substantial single wire transfer, $3.5 million, from Russian billionaire Elena Baturina who is suspected by the U.S. of corruption and Joe Biden was vice president at the time of the transfer.
The Treasury Department confirmed the findings from a Senate Republican-led investigation over Hunter’s role with Ukrainian company Burisma Holdings.
While Hunter was involved with Burisma dealings, then-Vice President Joe Biden was given the responsibility of dealing with the Ukraine country by former President Obama.
Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee Chairman Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) and Senate Finance Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) released a report commenting that Hunter’s involvement with the foreign company “cast a shadow” over the Obama Administration’s policies and that “there remains much work to be done.”
Senator Johnson commented on social media.
The report draws almost exclusively on records from the U.S. gov and U.S. entities, and from the testimony of U.S. persons. The only exception is a handful of documents that have been authenticated by the U.S. persons who should have provided them in the first instance. https://t.co/lzA9j19KsK

The investigation found officials from the Obama administration previously came forward with their concerns about Hunter’s involvement and possible conflict of interest.
The New York Post reports:
The probe found that in 2015, two Obama administration officials voiced concerns to White House officials about the possibility that the younger Biden serving on the board of Burisma could create the appearance of a conflict of interest, as his father oversaw Ukraine policy.
President Trump questioned Biden about Hunter’s foreign business deals during the debate last week, however, Biden denied Hunter did anything wrong saying, “It’s totally discredited.”
The Washington Times reports:
Democratic presidential nominee Joseph R. Biden flatly denied at Tuesday night’s debate that his lawyer son took huge sums of money from corrupt oligarchs and Chinese communists during his vice presidency, but Treasury Department reports show that Hunter Biden did receive the money.
Biden’s denial about the funds from Russia is undermined not only by the Senate Republican-led investigation but by the Treasury Department and the FBI.
It’s outrageous this serious revelation is not headline news.
Making matters worse, Joe Biden lied during the debate to cover for his son, and Joe and Hunter are not held accountable for misleading Americans.
