ABC’s The View co-host Whoopi Goldberg was slammed for saying the Holocaust was “not about race.”
Goldberg made the outrageous comment during part of a discussion with her co-hosts over the alleged banning of a book in a Tennessee school about the Holocaust.
The New York Post reports:
“The Holocaust isn’t about race. No, it’s not about race,” Goldberg, 66, said repeatedly. “It’s about man’s inhumanity to man.”
Sparks fly as The View panel confronts Whoopi after she says "the Holocaust isn't about race. No. It's not about race."
"Well, the considered Jews a different race," Joy Behar says.
"But it's about white supremacy. It's about going after Jews and Gypsies," Ana Navarro adds. pic.twitter.com/GZwZSi2qXi

Hours later and realizing the onslaught of backlash, Goldberg issued a statement:

Critics commented on social media.
If Whoopi Goldberg had ever expressed sympathy with a conservative cause in her entire life, she'd be out of a job today. But Leftism confers immunity from anti-Semitism concerns, as we already know from Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib.

Great reminder that Whoopi claims to be Jewish but doesn't practice the religion, has no Jewish ancestors, and changed her name to "Goldberg" before embarking on an acting career.
How's that for "cultural appropriation?" https://t.co/RdY73DICnP

Consequences only go one way folks. You should know this by now.

Management at ABC and Disney are silent about Goldberg’s anti-Semitic comment because she is a black liberal female and can get away with anything.
Anyone else making such an outrageous comment would have been fired immediately.
