Over 1 Million Illegal Migrants Get Full Health Insurance in State Plans
California Makes All Illegal Migrants Eligible for Medi-Cal
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
NPR reported, “Eleven states and Washington, D.C., together provide full health insurance coverage to more than 1 million low-income immigrants regardless of their legal status, according to state data compiled by KFF Health News.”
The story reports that the insurance coverage is being given to illegal migrants because of complaints from hospitals that are treating illegal migrants without insurance.
All states pay hospitals to provide emergency services to some unauthorized residents in emergency rooms, a program known as Emergency Medicaid. About a dozen states have extended coverage for only prenatal care for such people. Full state-provided health insurance coverage is much less common, but increasing.
Benefits for illegal migrants such as health care is a magnet for people around the world to come to the U.S.
California will provide illegal migrants health care starting on January 1, 2024. The illegal migrants will be eligible for Medi-Cal the state’s Medicaid program. The expansion of Medi-Cal will include an estimated 700,000 illegal migrants between the ages of 26 and 49.

This is just the beginning. Nobody will be deported and no benefits will ever be taken away. It only moves in one direction. pic.twitter.com/alMQOumY6k

A post on X from U.S. Customs and Border Protection stated that most illegal migrants coming over the border are not eligible to stay in the U.S. under asylum laws. However, with the promise of health care and other benefits, illegal migrants will take the chance to enter the U.S. and be allowed to stay.
According to U.S. immigration laws, the fact is that most noncitizens coming to our border are not eligible to remain in the United States. Asylum laws do not provide for relief solely for economic reasons or for general violence. Learn ➡️ https://t.co/HriWcruv1H pic.twitter.com/ozDfzf2MNp

In fiscal year 2023, over 2.4 million illegal migrants were encountered and so far in fiscal 2024 – which started in last October – about 700,000 illegal crossings through December.
Fox News’ Bill Melugin’s pinned post captures visual pictures and videos of illegal migrants walking into the U.S.
It’s a total free for all in Eagle Pass right now. Mass illegal crossing taking place for over an hour and a half. Almost 2 years to the day we saw 15,000+ Haitians under the bridge in Del Rio, we now have thousands of predominantly Venezuelans gathering under Eagle Pass bridge. pic.twitter.com/VkfUQnexGZ

The border crisis continues to accelerate and increasing complaints from blue city mayors is having no impact on President Biden.
Biden, like former President Obama, is fixated on fundamentally transforming the U.S.
