Busy Body Bloomberg
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
There he goes again!! NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg has launched another attack on our liberties by assaulting our food choices and our Second Amendment rights.
On January 31, the NYC Health Department released their second ad campaign (the first one posted here) targeting sugar sweetened beverages. The ad declares that a 20 ounce bottle of soda is comparable to 16 packets of sugar. Injecting fear into the message, the ad displays the foot of a diabetic with decaying toes (watch the ad here).
Then there’s the Bloomberg-sanctioned sting operation in Arizona to keep guns off New York streets.
Myway.com reports:
Bloomberg has authorized similar sting operations around the country as part of a push for tougher federal laws to help keep guns off the streets of New York.
But in the sensitive aftermath of the shooting Jan. 8 that killed six people and critically wounded Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, the mayor was questioned about the time and place of his hidden-camera investigation, a $100,000 operation conducted almost clear across the country.
High unemployment, crime and snow removal isn’t enough to keep Bloomberg busy.
