Fauci Believes Expelling Immigrants ‘is not the solution to an outbreak’

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Dr. Anthony Fauci, President Biden’s top medical adviser, declared deporting immigrants will not solve COVID-19 in the U.S.

Fauci was interviewed on CNN’s State of the Union with host Dana Bash on a range of topics including vaccines and immigration.

Responding to a question about Title 42 that allows the Biden administration to expel migrants on public health grounds, Fauci claimed he was not familiar with the details of the law.

Fauci added:

“I just, you know, my feeling has always been that focusing on immigrants expelling them and what have you is not the solution to an outbreak.”

Fauci also said migrants were not the source of spiking COVID-19 cases in the U.S.

Fauci made an appearance on CBS show Face the Nation and was asked if families could get together on Christmas, saying, “It’s just too soon to tell.”

His comment about Christmas generated backlash on social media.

Fauci’s critics jumped on his comment about Christmas which is understandable.

However, Fauci’s comments about migrants are, in my opinion, clearly political and anti-science.

As an infectious disease expert, Fauci knows isolating people infected with COVID-19 from the general population is a prudent public health measure.

Yet, Fauci chose to play ignorant about Title 42 and he must know that a number of illegal migrants are carrying COVID-19 over the southern border and are subsequently being relocated throughout the U.S.

Fauci is putting Biden’s politics before public health.
