In-N-Out Burger Faces Boycott For Republican Political Donation
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
In-N-Out Burger, a regional fast food chain, is facing a boycott because the company made a political donation to the California Republican Party.
The Daily Caller reports:
The California Democratic Party chair called Thursday for a boycott of burger chain In-N-Out because of a $25,000 donation that In-N-Out gave to the California Republican Party on Tuesday.
“Et tu In-N-Out?” state party Chair Eric Bauman wrote on Twitter Thursday. “Tens of thousands of dollars donated to the California Republican Party… it’s time to #BoycottInNOut – let Trump and his cronies support these creeps… perhaps animal style!”
The trigger for the boycott was a recent $25,000 donation to the California Republican Party.
In-N-Out Burger gave $60,000 to the California Republican Party over two previous years but the company also gave $50,000 to a PAC that supports moderate Republicans and Democrats.
The Sacramento Bee reports:
In addition to its $25,000 this week, it donated $30,000 to the GOP in 2017 and $30,000 to the in 2016. It has also contributed to the California pro-business political action committee, “Californians for Jobs & A Strong Economy,” which helps elect Republicans and moderate Democrats. Most recently, it gave the PAC $80,000 in 2017.

Democrats are extremely aggressive in pushing their candidates and are willing to punish companies that dare to challenge them.
