NYC Mayor Bloomberg Cracks Down on Salt
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
New York City ‘Nanny State’ Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s “do as I say not as I do” list continues to grow.
The New York Post reports city subways will be plastered with ads warning consumers to cut their salt intake from products such as canned soups and prepared foods.
Bloomberg, however, admits he is a salt fanatic and said the biggest culprits behind high-salt diets are the food processors that include copious amounts of sodium in canned soup and other prepared foods, according to the New York Post.
Not only does Bloomberg continue to dictate to New Yorkers about lifestyle choices, the ad campaign is an outrageous waste of tax dollars.
Costs for the ad campaign are estimated at $370,000 with $130,000 paid for by city taxpayers and the balance compliments of the Federal government.
