Is Joe Biden Changing His Mind About Running for President?

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Could Joe Biden be flip-flopping on his decision to get into the 2016 presidential race?

Not exactly. Biden says he regrets the decision daily, but not enough to actually mount a campaign against Hillary Clinton.

The Hill reports:

Vice President Biden said Wednesday he regrets not running for president in 2016, but stressed it was ultimately the right call.

“I regret it every day but it was the right decision for my family and for me and I plan on staying deeply involved,” he said in an interview with Hartford, Conn., NBC affiliate WVIT.

It’s one of the first times Biden has publicly conveyed remorse about not jumping into the race to succeed President Obama.

Currently, polling averages show Hillary Clinton in a decisive national lead ahead of Bernie Sanders, at 53% and 32%, respectively. It should be interesting to see what Biden means by staying “deeply involved” in the race for the Democratic nomination…
