Breaking: FBI Comey Caves to Pressure and Closes Clinton Investigation

FBI Director James Comey lost his spine – again.
Less than two weeks after Comey reopened the investigation and after taking heat from Democrats including President Obama, the FBI head sent a letter to Congress closing the investigation of Hillary Clinton for the second time.
The Los Angeles Times reports:
Nine days after rocking the presidential race with word that a new trove of emails had been discovered, Comey sent a brief letter to Capitol Hill that, in effect, put an end to the renewed controversy.
The letter said that agents “have been working around the clock to process and review” the emails, which had been found on a computer owned by former Rep. Anthony Weiner, the estranged husband of Clinton’s close aide Huma Abedin.
Comey’s decision a day and a half before the election will give Hillary Clinton a last second soundbite that she did nothing wrong by setting up her own email server. Comey has essentially given the Clinton campaign a much-needed November surprise.
Comey caved to pressure and by doing so he has severely damaged the reputation of the FBI. Trump is right – Washington, D.C. is a swamp that needs to be drained.
