Trump Slams Former FBI Director James Comey

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

President Trump slammed former FBI Director James Comey in a series of Tweets.

Comey is making negative comments about President Trump during media interviews to promote sales of his new book, “A Higher Loyalty: Truth Lies & Leadership.”

Some of Comey’s critical comments about the president are extremely petty such as President Trump’s hand size.

President Trump did not hold back with his criticism of Comey.

The president called Comey a “slime ball” and said it was an “honor” to fire the former FBI Director.

The Hill reports:

In a pair of tweets, Trump accused Comey of leaking classified information and lying to Congress “under OATH” about it.

“James Comey is a proven LEAKER & LIAR. Virtually everyone in Washington thought he should be fired for the terrible job he did-until he was, in fact, fired,” Trump wrote.

Trump continued in a follow-up tweet, calling Comey a “weak and untruthful slime ball” and saying it was “my great honor to fire James Comey!”

The FBI under Comey became politicized as it worked hard not to charge Hillary Clinton for breaking laws regarding her use of a personal email server to conduct State Department business.
