Illegal Migrant Children Taught by San Diego Public School Teachers While Schools Remain Closed

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Public school teachers in San Diego are providing in-person learning for illegal migrant children while schools remain closed for their students due to COVID-19.

Just like other parts of the country, schools in the San Diego Unified School District closed their doors over a year ago because of the virus.

The San Diego Convention Center is currently used to provide temporary housing and in-person learning.

Fox News reports:

Teachers from San Diego Unified School District are teaching migrant children in person before their own students, Fox News has learned.

One parent commented in an email to Fox News.

Fox News reports:

“The system is broken when San Diego teachers are teaching migrant children in person, but the 100k students of taxpaying families at San Diego Unified School District are stuck learning in Zoom school,” Emily Diaz, an SDUSD parent, told Fox News in an email.

Right now, approximately 500 teenage girls are sheltering at the downtown convention center arriving from Texas on charter flights and buses.

So far, 37 unaccompanied minors tested positive for COVID-19 at the shelter.

Critics commented on social media.

It’s outrageous illegal migrant children are granted in-person learning while the educational needs of American children are denied.
