Facebook Oversight Board Upholds Trump Account Ban

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Facebook’s Oversight Board is upholding the ban of former President Trump’s social media account.

Daily Mail reports:

Facebook’s Oversight Board temporarily upheld the ban on Trump’s accounts but refused to make a final call on it, instead throwing the controversial decision back to Mark Zuckerberg and giving him another six months to ponder it.

It should be noted the Oversight Board of 20 people are liberals who are paid six figures annually by Facebook.

Critics commented on social media.

Fighting back against the liberal censorship, the former president launched a new platform, From the Desk of Donald J. Trump, that will freely allow him to communicate with his followers.

Following Facebook’s announcement, former President Trump issued the following statement:

What Facebook, Twitter, and Google have done is a total disgrace and an embarrassment to our Country. Free Speech has been taken away from the President of the United States because the Radical Left Lunatics are afraid of the truth, but the truth will come out anyway, bigger and stronger than ever before. The People of our Country will not stand for it! These corrupt social media companies must pay a political price, and must never again be allowed to destroy and decimate our Electoral Process.

As a reminder, Facebook canceled me before former President Trump, resulting in my firing from The BlazeTV.

Facebook operates like a left-wing media outlet, not a platform, and their decision to uphold the ban on former President Trump’s account highlights they’re not just Big Tech but Big Brother controlling what people see and hear.

The company has far too much power and Congress must regulate it to reign in its influence to control speech.
