President Biden remains steadfast with the elimination of Title 42 despite strong opposition from Democrats.
Title 42 allows deportation of illegal migrants on public health grounds and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recently announced it was going to eliminate the order on May 23.
Former President Trump issued Title 42 in March of 2020.

Facing a growing rebellion from within the Democratic Party, the White House is standing behind its decision to end on May 23 a Trump-era deportation policy for migrants encountered at the southern border.
The Hill.com is reporting, “Nine Democratic senators — almost one in five of the party’s members in the upper chamber — have now expressed concerns about the ending of the controversial Trump-era policy.”
Republican and Democrat opposition over removing Title 42 is rooted in a concern that its elimination will boost the number of illegal migrants coming into the U.S.
Pennsylvania Republican Representative Guy Reschenthaler said the illegal encounters in March were up about 542 percent in comparison to March 2020.

The surge of illegal migrants entering the U.S. is out of control and Biden refuses to undertake any meaningful action to stop it.
Elimination of Title 42 will only make illegal migration worse.
