Deep State Brennan Lashes Out And Trump Responds

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Former CIA Director John Brennan used Twitter Sunday night to accuse Republican Congressional leadership of allowing President Trump to “harm” the country.

Brennan’s Tweet was in response to President Trump demanding the Department of Justice investigate the possibility the DOJ and the FBI spied on the Trump campaign for political purposes.

News reports over the weekend identified Cambridge University professor Stefan Halper as an individual that spied on the Trump campaign.

The Daily Caller reports:

But the reports match up exactly with a Cambridge University professor first described in a Daily Caller News Foundation report from March. That professor, Stefan Halper, contacted Trump advisers Carter Page, George Papadopoulos and Sam Clovis during the 2016 campaign.

President Trump responded to Brennan in a series of Tweets where the president quoted comments made by conservative activist Dan Bongino on Fox News’ “Fox & Friends,” about the former CIA head’s message to the Republican leaders in Congress.

It’s obvious Brennan is getting nervous about an investigation that could potentially expose his role as CIA director in the spying operation on the Trump campaign.
